The Chilliwack School District is seeking feedback on a draft school calendar for 2027/28 to 2031/32. A survey will be open from Monday, March 30 to Monday, April 13, 2026.

About the Draft 5-Year Calendar

The proposed calendar includes:

• a two-week spring break
• one administration day
• six professional development days for teachers
• three days for student assessments and parent-teacher interviews

A 5-year calendar provides stability for staff, students, and families. When building a school calendar, the district considers several priorities, such as:

• the minimum number of instructional hours as determined by the province
• meaningful breaks for students and families
• time for professional development, reporting, and assessment.
