The Chilliwack School District Accessibility Advisory Committee provides guidance on the development, implementation and review of the District’s Accessibility Plan. The Committee follows the Accessible British Columbia Act and the principle “Nothing About us, without us"; ensures the Chilliwack School District (the “District”) is accessible and welcoming; and helps build an inclusive school system. The goal is to support people with disabilities in their learning and personal growth.

The District's Accessibility Plan is live at https://www.sd33.bc.ca/sd33-accessibility-plan. This is a green document, which means it invites feedback for continuous improvement. To provide feedback, please use the Feedback on Plan tool below or email accessibility@sd33.bc.ca.

    We want to know the specific barriers people with disabilities face when they are trying to:

    • Access a school district program, building or information
    • Receive a service or support

    We would also like to hear about accessibility features in the district that are working well.

    Use this form to describe experiences and make recommendations on how barriers can be removed or improved upon.

    If you cannot complete this form on this platform, you may do one of the following:

    • Download a printable PDF copy or a large font printable PDF
    • Pick up a paper copy at the School District Office - 8430 Cessna Drive or request one to be printed at your local school
    • Call 604-792-1321 - a receptionist will take your information and have someone who can best assist you connect with you
    • All hard copies can be delivered to the School District Office - 8430 Cessna Drive, or you may request your local school to send it through interschool mail (note: if sending through a school, please do so by April 18)
